iPhone 3G - How I Want You…

In Case You’ve been living under a rock for the last day, Apple has introduced a new version of its popular iPhone which features 3G Download speeds (up to 3x faster then the previous iPhone’s EDGE), GPS navigation/location, and a sleeker plastic design. And, if you can’t already tell, I want one. However, there is one problem…

I can’t pay the $70/month for AT&T’s Cellular Service. With the previous iPhone, this wasn’t a problem as you didn’t have to sign the contract when you bought the phone, so you could just take it home and unlock it and use it without the phone service. That isn’t the case with the new iPhone, however. Since Apple dropped the price ($199), and AT&T is subsidizing (paying for part of the phone because you bought the service), they want to make sure that they don’t lose money by paying for part of a phone that they don’t receive profit from. Therefore, you have to sign the contract in-store. Anyone want to loan me a line on their Family Plan?
