My Computer….
This is a computer blog, right? Well, why haven’t I told you about my computer yet? Well, I don’t know, but I guess we’ll follow the old saying: “Better late then never”. Anyways, my computer runs of of an Intel processor. I used to be a die-hard AMD fan, but the newer Intel chips have better speeds and take less electricity. Anyway, heres the list (direct from Newegg) of the parts of my computer.
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 Conroe 2.33GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80557E6550 - Retail
- Sunbeam RGPS-450W 450Watts ATX Power Supply - OEM
- GIGABYTE GA-G33M-S2H LGA 775 Intel G33 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
- G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ - Retail
I also kept these parts from my old computer
Overall, its a great build. I even got a free “Blazing Angels” game with it.
Now, I come to my new question. Should I upgrade this summer, or buy new. I still don’t know for sure weather I will even do either, but if I do, what should it be. New video card? Hard Drive? Voice your opinion in the comments.

Well it all depends what you do with the computer, are you a gamer, or do you use it for business, or both? But a safe bet would be a cpu with about 250gig hardrive which would be adequate space for both work programs and games. As for video card I recommend the ATI Radeon Xpress 200 , its really good for games which demand high quality graphics like blood and guts etc. Also anything with about 1gigabyte to 2 of of memory is good. and as for processors you should get the new Duo Core processor, you can totally see the difference in performance right away. All these features come in many name brand cpu’s like Dell, HP, etc. So when your all set up with your new one you can send me you old one. Good luck!
Sorry, my current computer has most of those features, but thanks for the comment!
