NoteScraps Review

I recently decided to try out this new program I heard about from Logos called NoteScraps. NoteScraps is a Note Management program, where you can enter any little tidbit of information that may be scattered around your desk (However, I wouldn’t keep my SSN in it as seen in their introuductary video.) NoteScraps costs $20, however there is a free trial version at their website.

When you first open NoteScraps, you are presented with a blank window. This window contains all of your Notes. You can insert links into your notes by typing a web address, and you can change the color of your Note.

NoteScraps also has a built in search bar that works quickly and easily. Many of the effects in the software are very cool and modern.

Overall, I would give NoteScraps a 7/10, as it may not be worth $20. However, for some people it will be perfect, so go ahead and give the trial a try!

The Good

  • Quick and Effective Managment of notes
  • Easy to use and intuitive search system
  • Notes are easy to access in a .txt file, even w/o NoteScraps
  • The interface is cool

The Bad

  • It costs $20
