About
About? About Me? Well, I don’t know what you want to know (and I don’t really want to tell you much about me, either…)
Well, I like computers, to start. I have to thank my grandparents for that. Here, I’ll tell you a quick story.
Before this started, I had been fascinated with my parents computer, but I couldn’t use it much because it was for my dads work…
When my aunt and uncle came from Oklahoma, my uncle got the idea that he should buy my grandma a new e-machines computer with Windows ME and something like a 733mhz Pentium 2/3. So, I begged my grandma to let me have her old computer. Well, it was really a miracle that I did get it, because she has like a billion other grandchildren, and one of them could have probably put it to better use. But, anyways, she gave it to me, and I had my first computer. Immediately, my dad and I upgraded it from Windows 95 to 98, and I started using it. Now, I really can’t remember how much I used it, or what I used it for, just that I used it.
Come the next Christmas, I wanted a better computer. So, my dad and I went down to the local Mom and Pop Computer store, and we bought an AMD Thunderbird processor/motherboard, and something like 256mb of ram, with Windows XP (I really wanted XP, it was brand new that Christmas.) Once again, I don’t remember using this computer much.
My next computer was an AMD Sempron 1666mhz computer, I used it for around 5 years. This computer got me started on PHP coding, and also a bit of gaming.
The computer that I am typing this on right now is a Core2Duo 2.3ghz 1333mhz fsb 2gb ram computer. Its really speedy, and I have two monitors (helps a lot when I’m coding). However, sometimes I wish I had my old computer still, as it had an advantage over my current one: Dedicated Graphics. I’ll be hopefully getting one for this computer soon.
Well, there you have me, a quick bio on my computer use. Hopefully you found it somewhat interesting.
